Russell Cleaver

Russell Cleaver, co-founder and director of TreeLink, brings over 15 years of experience in arboricultural management. Holding a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics from Sydney University and a Diploma of Arboriculture (AQF 5), Russell is also Tree Risk Assessment Qualified (TRAQ).

Born and raised on a farm, Russell’s love for the outdoors and climbing trees naturally evolved into a career in arboriculture. Alongside his business partner, Angus McGregor, Russell founded TreeLink in 2008. Today, TreeLink boasts a fleet of 15 trucks, specialised plant and equipment, two operational offices, and a dedicated team of 20 professionals.

TreeLink is recognized as an industry leader, delivering innovative and comprehensive tree management solutions. Russell’s commitment to personal development is reflected in his extensive qualifications and a hands-on approach to ensuring workplace safety. He emphasizes staff certification in Senior First Aid, Traffic Control, Aerial Rescue, Powerline Approach, Chemical Preparation and Application, Elevated Work Platform Operation, and Rail Industry Induction.

As a consultant and ‘tree doctor,’ Russell takes pride in his deep knowledge and experience. He is passionate about the social and environmental impacts of his work, dedicating himself to protecting and managing urban trees.

Russell’s journey is marked by a profound connection to nature and a relentless pursuit of excellence in arboriculture. He finds immense satisfaction in working outdoors and making a positive impact on the environment.

Angus McGregor

Angus McGregor is the visionary Founder and Director of TreeLink, bringing over 15 years of experience in arboricultural management to the forefront of the industry. Angus holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics from Sydney University and an AQF Level 3 Arborist Certificate from Kurri Kurri TAFE.

From a young age, Angus has been passionate about the natural environment, especially the unique Australian landscape. His childhood spent exploring the great outdoors on a farm naturally led him to pursue a career in arboriculture.

Angus’s dedication to tree management is evident in his role at TreeLink, where he works alongside his business partner, Russell Cleaver. For nearly 15 years, they have provided innovative tree management services and solutions, earning a reputation for excellence in the industry. TreeLink’s commercial client portfolio includes prestigious names such as Roads and Maritime Services (RMS), National Parks and Wildlife, Water NSW, Sydney Airport, Sydney Metro Rail, and many others.

Angus’s expertise in commercial client relations and management has been instrumental in securing large-scale projects, fueling his ambition for growth and industry leadership. His qualifications include Senior First Aid, Traffic Control (Blue and Yellow cards), Aerial Rescue, Powerline Approach, Chemical Preparation and Application, Elevated Work Platform Operation, and Rail Industry Induction. Additionally, Angus is TRAQ qualified (Tree Risk Assessment Qualified) and holds a Diploma of Arboriculture.

Rich Green

Rich Green, the Chief Operating Officer at TreeLink, has been an integral part of the team for the past eight years. With a Bachelor in Accounting and Finance from Cardiff University, UK, Rich plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between clients, on-site staff, and management.
